Getting up early in the morning is not easy. However, even the most sleepy people have encountered their opponents at this year's CeBIT High Tech Fair - the world's most " callous " alarm clock designed by students at Wildau Technical University. (Virtue).

High-tech alarm clock

When it is time to wake up, the watch will communicate and 'order' the curtains in the bedroom the user opens. Five minutes later, the watch will turn on the night light in the room. If its owner still hasn't woken up, it will turn on the radio and turn on the alarm. This " abuse" only ends when the user stands on a sensor pad placed next to the bed for 5 seconds. Only when the watch is pleased to see its owner wake up, does it turn off the alarm and turn on the coffee maker as a reward for his efforts.

Ms. Birgit Wilkes, from Wildau Technical University, told the AFP news agency : ' My students have come up with the idea of inventing devices because they sometimes find that getting up early is not easy. However, the device also has a more serious application. We are using similar sensor technology to monitor older people's homes to identify when they fall . '

For those worried about hair loss, Spec Company (Hong Kong) introduced a hairbrush with a built-in camera and magnifying glass. When the user combs the hair, a enlarged image of the scalp is transferred to the computer. After that, the computer will analyze the hair density over time to assess whether there are signs of baldness. For those who are interested in dental health, the company also unveiled a built-in toothbrush to help users see dental plaque in hard-to-see places and monitor tooth brushing levels. their fruit.

Robot mimics humans

A number of other interesting devices also appeared at CeBIT, from sunglasses that incorporate tiny cameras to return to what the eye sees until a small helicopter controlled by the iPhone phone. However, RoboThespian robots are one of the stars at CeBIT this time. The robot is equipped with the ability to quote monologues in Shakespeare's Hamlet, accompanied by acting moves.

In addition, this robot has the ability to sing, dance, speak 20 languages and mimic the actions of those in front of it. In the future, designers will add mobility to RoboThespian.

Mr. Will Jackson, Director of Engineered Arts Limited (UK) created this robot, saying: 'The unique feature of RoboThespian is that it can mimic almost every movement that people can do.' He added that the main function of this $ 90,000 robot is entertainment and communication.

RoboThespian has appeared at the US Air and Space Agency, a number of robotic banks and museums, where it is used to welcome guests or play the role of a special tour guide. One advice for those who are interested in RoboThespian is that they should not stand too close to it because this friendly robot is willing to give them a kiss on the cheek.
