Located in the Caribbean and Bahamas of the United States, the Manchineel tree has been dubbed the "dead tree" by the terrible toxin that this plant carries in itself.

Manchineel tree or Hippomane mancinella in Caribbean waters and Bahamas of the United States is known as the most exclusive tree in the world. They are considered effective wave breakers for this sea. Manchineel is a tree with large canopy, reaching a height of 25m. The fruit is round, apple-like, green and red-yellow when ripe.
