Metro said that his car, Tang Zhengping, a farmer in Beijing, operated from two batteries and two generators. One battery will be charged while the other is powering the car. The same mechanism applies to two generators.
Mr. Tang added two solar panels on either side of the car and propellers on the top. Propellers and two solar panels add extra power when the car is running. The electricity in the two batteries is enough for the car to be used in two or three days.
"My car travels at a maximum speed of 140km / h, and its battery life is longer than conventional electric vehicles, which do not have generators," Tang said.
The wind-power movement to produce electricity in China has exploded in recent years. Five years ago, China did not have any wind power plants, but in 2011 China became the world's most wind turbine installer. So, if Tang's car is electrically powered by wind and sunlight to become a commercial product, it's likely to be welcomed by Chinese people.
