Find the greatest treasure in human history

American scientists have found a Spanish ship full of jewels, worth up to $ 17 billion at the bottom of the Carribean.

The Spanish ship San Jose was wrecked off the coast of Colombia in June / January, when it was carrying gold and silver from colonial mines in Peru and Bolivia to the country for King Philip V. Only a few people survived a total of 600 crew members.

The Colombian president, Juan Manuel Santos, now wants to work with the private sector to salvage treasure in the Spanish shipwreck to build a museum to exhibit artifacts and labs to study and preserve them.

Colombia has not announced the official value of the ship under the ship, but experts estimated in 1980 that the amount of undersea gold and silver was worth up to $ 17 billion.

Treasure hunters have long been searching for San Jose and it was discovered in November 2015. At that time, the ship was said to be the most valuable treasure discovered in human history.

The Colombian government said there was no dispute or foul status from the San Jose vessel. Despite this, Spain claims that the country is the owner of the treasure because it is on the Spanish ship.

In the 1980s, the US marine search company Armada claimed that it had discovered San Jose shipwreck and participated in the ship ownership dispute with the Colombian government.

But this finding was not confirmed and in 2011, a US court announced that San Jose shipwreck was Colombia's property.
