Researchers claim to have found the happiest man in America. He is Alvin Wong, 65, a married Chinese-American and currently living in Hawaii.

Wong, a Jewish man, was named the happiest man in the United States after taking part in a Gallup Institute's Happiness survey.
The survey asked participants about different aspects of life such as emotional state, job satisfaction, health, stress levels and other factors. Wong participated in the investigation through his Jewish congregation in Honolulu, the state capital of Hawaii.
The information provided by Mr. Wong provides a summary of the happiest people criteria in the United States.
Other information that helped Mr. Wong topped the survey is height (1.78m), age (65), wealth (Mr. Wong earns US $ 120,000 per year from his private health company) .
Mr. Wong said: 'My motto is, if you can't laugh at yourself, life will be terrible for you . '
According to the survey, Hawaii is the happiest state in the United States. Other states in the United States have a high happiness index located in the west and are known to be easy-to-live cities, outdoor life, and spectacular scenery. The other four states are behind Hawaii: Wyoming, North Dakota, Alaska and Colorado.
The less happy states are the poorer states in the south like Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi. West Virginia is the least happy state, with indicators of life, health and sentiment at the bottom of the table.
