Finland - home to the best science students
A study published Tuesday, Finland is the country with the best student in the world in science. According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, second is Hong Kong and Canada students. Next to Taiwan, Estonia, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia.
(Artwork: Fortunecity.com) More than 400,000 students aged 15 in 57 countries were surveyed with a focus on science tests. In addition, these students are tested for math and reading comprehension skills. American students ranked 29th, English 14th and French 25th.
30 member countries of the Economic Cooperation and Development organization conduct this international examination every 3 years. 27 other countries that are not part of this industrialization group are also involved.
For the math test, Taiwanese, Finnish and Hong Kong students topped the table. With the best reading, South Korean followed by Finland and Hong Kong.
