Amber room is considered the 8th wonder of mankind.

The room was a gift given to the Russian Tsar by the Prussian king. More than 500 large candles are lit to make the room sparkle under the golden light, making it the 8th wonder of humanity.

The chamber of amber is said to have been lost after the Nazis under Hitler's direction, bringing the treasure and wealth back from Russia.

But treasure hunters believe the amber room is still being buried in a tunnel network of Nazi scientists during World War II.

Expert Peter Lohr traced the trail of treasure based on information gathered in 2001. Using radar shots, Lohr believes that the amber room is in the tunnel network in Dresden, Germany.

'The secret tunnel is located directly on the railway network, where the train carrying Hitler's treasure hurried to leave Konisberg , ' Lohr said.

When Soviet troops occupied the city of Konisberg in April 1945, the amber room was 'wingless'.

The room disappeared after the Nazis collapsed during World War 2.

Lohr, along with two treasure hunters Leonhard Blimer and Gunter Eckhardt, believed that the site also contained another treasure of Kaiser Wilhelm, the last emperor of the German Empire.

Eckhardt said: 'We discovered traces, showing that the pulley system was used to bring valuable assets to the ground'.

'Data collected from radars reveals the network of secret tunnels below.' The treasure hunters have planned to explore the secret tunnel to check if their prediction is correct.

Since its disappearance, the amber room has become a prime target for many treasure hunters. But it is also said that the 8th wonder of the world was buried in Soviet shelling.
