Found the largest giant centipede in the world, standing like a tiger god
A man in Hawaii, USA, was stunned to see the huge centipede never hid in the garden.
According to Daily Star, Clayton Cambra recounted the moment he found the giant centipede near his home in Honokaa, Hawaii, USA.
'I see it crawling around a tree in the garden,' Clayton said. 'I thought it was a snake'.
He didn't move much, crawled very slowly, so I went home and took a pot.'I went back there and found it still there.'
The centipede is about 38cm long, thought to be the largest in the world.
According to Clayton, the centipede becomes aggressive when someone is going to catch it.'I took a stick to throw it in the pot. Just then, the centipede stood up with a posture like a cobra. "
Clayton said he had to work hard to control the centipede to bring it home. The man in Hawaii who wanted to keep the centipede should have killed it by putting it in the freezer, then defrosting and using a preservative to prevent bacteria from multiplying.
The video shows the centipede then stays in a box. It is about 38cm long, much longer than the centipedes that people have recorded before.
Dan Rubinoff from the University of Hawaii's insect museum said this could be the longest centipede in the world. 'This is probably the biggest centipede I have ever seen. Many others live in the garden only about 15cm long .
There is information that centipedes can grow up to 30cm long, but 38cm long like the centipede that Mr. Clayton caught is probably unprecedented.
