Medic Medical Center (HCMC) has just put into operation a new type of blood vessel. This machine can capture blood vessels throughout the body.

CT Scanner (Computed Tomography Scanner) was invented in 1971. Other X-rays with all the information are on the film, in a computerized tomography examination, the entire information contained in the memory of the machine and the operator of the device to select images that are meaningful for diagnosis.(Source: Central Eye Hospital)

The device can capture blood vessels throughout the length of 1.8m. In addition, this machine can also have a CT scan without waiting for the heart rate to drop below 70 times / minute.

This screening technique is indicated when the patient has one of the diseases such as left chest pain, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, heavy smoking and fat.

The MSCT 64 camera has just been equipped with the Medic Medical Center to examine the functions of the heart, helping the doctor to diagnose heart disease and congenital heart disease well.

Another advantage of MSCT 64 is that it can capture renal arteries, pulmonary arteries, brain arteries.

Compared with classic CT, three-dimensional CT scans from head to toe with MSCT 64, the lowest dose of radiation will be reduced by 40%.

However, at present, the cost of CT scans with MSCT 64 at Medic is very expensive.

Only cerebral CT scan without contrast or CT scan of calcified coronary artery costs 500,000 VND / time. The remaining types of shooting, the lowest cost is 1,000,000 VND and the highest is 2,000,000 VND.
