Future model on Mars in the future
A fully furnished dome house model is on display in the UK to illustrate how humans live on Mars in the future.
The housing model illustrates how people live on Mars in the future on display at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, London, England, and the International Business Times on November 11 reported.
The house is based on the material of astronomers at the Royal Observatory and Stephen Petranek, the author of "How we will live on Mars" , to help bring the most realistic view. about solutions to deal with the harsh environment on Mars.
The dome houses a narrow bunk bed, 3D printer, simple exercise machine, astronaut outfit along with other items. Model walls are more than 0.5 meters thick. However, when built on Mars, the house needs walls about 3.5 - 4.5m thick to prevent dangerous cosmic radiation on the planet's surface.

"Mars' environment is not suitable for humans. This planet has a thin atmosphere. Therefore, you must protect yourself from radiation here," Petranek explained.
According to Marek Kukala, astronomer at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the original houses can be built with robots, then astronauts from Earth will fly to Mars and complete the work.
"We will reuse many components of the spacecraft when entering Mars. By using materials from the planet's surface, such as making bricks from soil or growing food on Martian soil, they We can limit the amount of objects to carry , " Kukala said.
However, the works must also be sustainable and safe."When you live in this house, you need to make sure you are protected from the dangers on the planet's surface , " Kukala said.
According to him, the plan to bring people to Mars is a long-term project, which requires a lot of investment capital and must change people constantly.
"I hope it's not a one-way trip. You'll have to use some parts of the spacecraft to build accommodation. However, I would like to have more spacecraft for astronauts to have. can leave after a few years and the flow of people will go back and forth between Earth and Mars, " Kukala said.
