Google sells company specializing in manufacturing robots' nightmare
Japan's Softbank completes acquisition of Boston Dynamics, a company that makes robots so many people fear.
Google last week completed a sale of Boston Dynamics , a robotics company nicknamed the "nightmare factory" , for Softbank Group of Japan. Schaft, which specializes in the production of two-legged robots, is also part of the deal, Mashable reported.

The products of Boston Dynamics have been extremely controversial, especially the human-like Atlas robots that can open doors, move uneven terrains, lift and package their packages. This robot has very good balance, almost impossible to fall off when hit. When pushed, it can wake up and move.
Many call this a "nightmare" robot for fear they may fall into the hands of criminals or be used for military purposes against civilians.

Boston Dynamics is also famous for its 4-legged robot named BigDog, which looks like a big dog. The company has also launched a hybrid robot with two wheels and four arms named Handle. This robot can stand on 4 legs, similar to BigDog models.
The value of the contract between Google and Softbank was not disclosed. The reason why Boston Dynamics was sold by Google is because the company is not able to manufacture robots that meet market requirements in the coming years. The deal ends four years Google operates Boston Dynamics without achieving initial expectations.
