This honor will belong to Tango phone - the phone project can self-monitor 3-dimensional movement to create a 3D model of the surrounding environment . Thanks to its special ability, Tango phone will be used in the SPHERES project of NASA.

More specifically, NASA will use spherical satellites floating in space to perform alternate missions for astronauts. The recognition and drawing of 3D models of Tango also coincides with NASA's requirements:

"The ability of Tango is exactly what we need for a robot to be able to do any task on a space station . We want to add communication, a camera, and increase processing ability, When we were looking for headaches, we suddenly realized that the solution was in the palm of my hand (the Tango phone) ".

Google will bring Tango to space in the upcoming July 11. On NASA satellites, the Tango phone will be the "eye" of the ISS International Space Station. This is an honor for a company that constantly promotes the creative process, from both useful end-user products to "crazy" ideas in space.
