He: Inaugurated the Green Eye space research center

A new space center in the UK will lead the way in developing new techniques to test the earth. The agency, named the Earth Observation Center, will combine the universe and industry experts.

British devices are present on many satellites, collecting data and changing climate, on the sea and on land. It is hoped the center will help lift the UK's position to win futures contracts on space ships.

This idea comes from the NERC Natural Environment Research Commission and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The center will set up an office at Astrium Space Company in Stevenage and the University of Leicester, but the main role will be to coordinate research activities in the UK.

"The first task will be to focus on remote control induction techniques related to the chemical composition of the atmosphere and its climate relationship" - That is the explanation of Dr. Arwyn Davies. , director of Earth observation of both NERC and the UK National Space Center.

British research agencies collaborate with a variety of space survey missions, including European ESA with US Envisat and NASA systems via Aura satellites.
