Hell holes are as long as 2 football fields suddenly appear in New Zealand
This week, a dairy farmer in New Zealand was shocked to discover a hell hole that was as long as two football fields and as deep as a six-story building on a farm in Roturua town.
New hell holes appeared in New Zealand.
According to local media, Colin Tremain discovered the hell hole before dawn while preparing to milk cows. He said he did not realize how big the hole was until he looked back at it during the day.
After looking at this hell hole in person, biologist Brad Scott told ABC News it would take decades to create such a hole in the ground.
"The vulnerability may have occurred because of the rain in the past 40, 50 and 100 years," Scott said.
