Homemade Cookware
Professors at the University of Tokyo have introduced an outline of a future world where robots can help mankind. Not as agile as humans, and the movement can be a bit stiff but the robot can pour tea into the cup and even wash the cup afterwards.
This robot is the result of 4 years of hard work, the most sophisticated engineering application from over 40 robotics professors and IT specialists at the University of Tokyo.
Japan is at the forefront of robot design, but most robots are used in industrial environments. Professors at the University of Tokyo want to make a robot that can be used in other environments.
They believe that the service robots can be used in hospitals or households where users can not do their usual chores.
