IBM supports Danang to build a smart city
In the morning of October 10, the Department of Information - Communications of Da Nang and IBM Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding to 'build Danang to become a smarter city'.

Accordingly, IBM is an important partner in consulting, building and developing modern architecture and information technology (IT) infrastructure for Da Nang City in the next 5 years.
The areas that focus on cooperation include projects and IT in a number of sectors and areas are currently major challenges such as: Traffic, Water Resources Management, Food Safety, Information and Communication Information, Health, High Technology .
The two sides will promote the construction of an appropriate roadmap to step by step establish the Executive Center, support the Da Nang City government to make accurate, well-grounded decisions, quickly and practically.
With IBM's IT solutions, Da Nang has more databases and plans to address challenges in the development process, especially traffic congestion, control of infrastructure systems; quality control, the process of exploitation, supply and use of water resources; controlling food origin, warning about the risk of food insecurity and coping with climate change .
