Ice rain Geminids 2017 glows the world sky

Astronomers all over the world record spectacular scenes when Geminid meteor shower peaks on December 13-14.

Geminid meteor shower takes place in December and is an annual astronomical event that many people look forward to. This year, this phenomenon peaked on the night of December 13-14, according to Space. Meteor shower seems to originate from the constellation Gemini (Gemini), but may appear throughout the sky. Geminid meteor shower occurs when the Earth passes through debris and dust left by the 3200 Phaethon asteroid. This asteroid has an average diameter of just over 5km.
