Implant chips support smartphones predicting heart attacks

PhoneArena, EPFL, a Swiss science company, invented a kind of microscopic implant that allows for the warning of heart attacks.

The device measures 14mm, which measures five different types of parameters, including the troponin protein that the heart produces when oxygen is deficient, leading to heart attacks.

The device also transmits Bluetooth signals to mobile devices, so users can be alerted about potential dangers.
