Internet for robots

With the impact of human beings, robots now have their own cloud computing, opening up the bright prospect of upgrading artificial intelligence.

European computer scientists have created the internet for robots, or cloud computing, to support robots.

Researchers from five European universities have developed the Internet, which allows robots to connect to the network and access directly to the telecom, storage, and data infrastructure of current data centers. It's not a giant server house behind the likes of Google, Facebook and Amazon.

The Earth Robot, the English name RoboEarth Cloud Engine , will allow robots to share knowledge with other robots via a network database, speed up learning and adaptability to tasks. complex, according to Phys.Org led the press release of the ETH Zurich Research Center for Technology (Switzerland).

The new system will enable robots to perform complex functions such as mapping, navigating, or processing human voice commands in seconds.

'The RoboEarth Cloud Engine is particularly useful for mobile robots, such as reconnaissance and self-propelled vehicles, which need a lot of computer-oriented activity,' says ETH Zurich researcher Mohanarajah Gajamohan.

The new computing platform could open up smarter, lighter, and most importantly, cheaper robots.
