Japan applies clean water technology in Vietnam
Kitakyushu city government, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, on May 16, said the smart water filtration technology that this city holds patent will be applied at a water plant in Hai Phong, the port city of Vietnam. Male.
The technology removes harmful impurities such as nitrogen ammonia and trihalomethane from the water, by taking advantage of the bacteria's natural function to absorb and decompose the above contaminants. The application of this technology by Hai Phong, which was developed by Kitakyushu city government with Kobelco Environmental Solution Company, is based in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, marking the first time this device was introduced in foreign.
The Kitakyushu government has been investing in water-related projects in developing Asian countries with activities such as providing consulting services.
In this project in Hai Phong, Kitakyushu also played an advisory role, while Kobelco won an order of 23 million yen (US $ 225,000) from Hai Phong city to do planning work.
