Japan exports environmental technology to Vietnam

Japan will export modern social and information technology infrastructure abroad through public-private partnerships, and the first destination of this highly-anticipated project is Vietnam.

According to the Ministry of Information and Interior's announcement, in March, Japan will start implementing a pilot project to investigate and assess water and air quality in Vietnam.

Government Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attaches great importance to the policy of " exporting Japan's most modern social infrastructure abroad " and supporting the export of Japanese enterprises' IT systems and considers it a pillar for The country's economic growth strategy in the coming time.

The pilot project in Vietnam is implemented by the main partner, NTT DATA Group. The government budget value for this project is 150 million yen. NTT DATA used to have great success and great contribution to the development of social and information infrastructure in modern urban areas in Japan.

According to this pilot project, Japan will establish centers in Hanoi to analyze environmental data such as water quality, air quality, installation of sensors in many places in Vietnam.

With the integrated data analysis technology, NTT DATA will conduct water level and water quality surveys of the Mekong River and air quality in Ho Chi Minh City, and identify the causes and find corrective measures. .

In the industrial park in the northern suburbs of Hanoi, NTT DATA will conduct a measure of temperature, humidity, and electricity consumption so that it can effectively use energy.
