Japan develops self-propelled moving equipment

An idea to create a ski simulator can help people play anytime and anywhere, for example in a country without snow like Vietnam, or in summer in Korea or simply rather than a personal mobility device that motivates scientists to design a pair of self-propelled wheels.

Engineers at Nissan Motor Co. and Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST ) have coordinated the design of the wheel.

At first glance this product is shaped like a ski suit, users are standing on it and leaning forward to move, touch pads and wheels will coordinate in harmony to balance the user. There are also handrails to ensure safety. The maximum speed of this wheel set is 5km / h.

When separated, each wheel can only move straight forward or backward, the user can not lean to turn right / left but to lift the leg up, similar to when riding stunt. The product is still in the testing phase, so the sale time is not yet mentioned.
