Design speed of LO is 550km / h, with quadrilateral section and passenger compartment. LO Maglev will lay the first foundation for the new Magnetic Shinkansen Maglev ChuoShinkansen Maglev line which will be operational from 2027.

Since November 2012, LO has been adjusted mechanically and put into trial run. On June 3, the 130m-long train began rolling out for the first time on the Maglev Yamanashi line, but at a slower pace.

From September 2013, the ship will officially run the test. JR Tokai is expected to test drive the number 12 in the future.
