Not only need good physical strength, want to be an astronaut, everyone must have the knowledge, skills of judgment and teamwork, the famous Japanese astronaut told Vietnamese youth.

Astronaut Noichi Noguchi came to Vietnam in the framework of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations. This is the second time he has come to Vietnam.
Noichi Noguchi had about three hours yesterday to talk to the young people at the filming station of Vietnam Television. In the afternoon, he spent two hours lecturing with students of the University of Technology and Hanoi National University.
At the two talks, Noguchi talked with Vietnamese youth about his double journey into the universe, difficulties and joyful memories of the times when he and his colleagues went out to earth, and worked in space. . He said that in addition to the scientific experiments, he and his colleagues on the International Space Station (ISS) had time to play and sing together to create a happy atmosphere. In a weightless environment, swimming with drifting food without using hands becomes a very fun game for Noguchi and colleagues.
He remembers the second time in the universe, he was also celebrated by his friends' birthday parties, and welcomed the new year on the space station."We dressed as Santa to bring food to the space station for the colleagues," Noguchi recalls.

Noguchi could not forget his first meeting on ISS, the first time he was able to see the earth."The earth is very sparkling, like a living object. At that time, I was very happy and moved." He said he enjoyed watching Mount Fuji from the universe. "Seeing Mount Fuji, I was so happy to think: Ah, so this is where I was born, I felt better than anyone when I was in my country."
After listening to the Japanese astronaut sharing, the young Vietnamese asked many questions, including mainly wondering how to become astronauts.
Many Vietnamese people were surprised and delighted when Noguchi gave an answer to the above question with the image of Vietnamese noodle soup, a dish that he enjoyed . "Vietnamese Pho is very delicious, to make it needs a lot of ingredients, not everyone knows, but if there is an order, surely everyone must judge, think and respond to find a way to make pho tasty".
He said that in order to cook well, each person should have his own processing and adaptability due to each individual. Also, astronauts are not all good and excellent, but need to be adaptive in all conditions.
The second factor according to Noichi Noguchi, he must have knowledge, know English and Russian; In addition, young people can learn more from astronaut Pham Tuan. Thirdly, young people need to have the skills to run robots in space.
Noichi Noguchi said that if you want to be an astronaut, you need to have a way to observe the situation around you, identify and analyze and handle that situation in the shortest time."It's okay for airplanes to return to Earth, but if they accidentally fall into the mountains or desert, then the rescue team will be able to come in two and a half days later. Those days, astronauts know how to deal with difficulties " , Noguchi cited.
In addition, to become an astronaut, Noguchi said, young people need to know how to work harmoniously in groups."On the space station, not only Japanese people, but also colleagues from other countries, so understanding culture and working together is not easy," said Noichi Noguchi.
Noguchi said that after returning to Earth, the astronaut had to help others understand his accomplishments.
"Following these six factors, you will surely become astronauts working in the harshest conditions outside the earth, and fulfilling the assigned tasks , " Noguchi said.
In order to have these 6 elements, the young people have to go through the training process very hard, the most difficult according to Noguchi astronaut is when practicing on a continuous rotation, then making the human mind spin. This exercise is to help astronauts adapt when in a weightless environment.
In order for the youth to feel the hardship in the exercise, Noguchi invited 4 students to participate in the training under his guidance. At first, 4 young people had to raise one leg, arms crossed and keep their balance. Next, a best-done friend will be selected to sit on a chair and spin for a few minutes. When standing up, the person must walk calmly to the predetermined position. Any young person after sitting on a chair without being dizzy, standing firm, the chances of going back to the astronaut

However, young people hardly pass this test because after sitting on a 360-degree swivel chair, they all feel dizzy and walk like they are about to fall."To enter the universe everyone experiences many hard training sessions. I have to practice for 9 years to enter the universe in 8 minutes , " Noguchi said.
Curious about Nogouchi's second flight into space, a young man questioned his feelings when the flight took place after the shuttle Columbia's tragedy killed some astronauts. Noguchi replied: "My colleagues and I were shocked to hear that information. But I think my children will be proud and happy if their father knows that the accident still flew into space. That is the motivation. Help me continue into the universe ".
Japanese astronauts hope Vietnam will soon find the second person to follow the hero Pham Tuan into the universe."I hope to have a day to work with young Vietnamese. Please try to enter the universe to see the earth and be proud of where you were born."
Noguchi was born April 15, 1965 in Kanagawa, Japan. He currently works at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
Through two flights on the STS-14 and IS Expedition 18, he is credited with the longest time in the universe in the history of flying into the Japanese universe, with 177 days 3 hours 5 minutes of flying. The ISS Expediton 18 voyage was also recorded in Japanese aerospace history, as it was the first time at the same time that two spacecraft met and worked in space.
