LAMP Kit for quick diagnosis of disease in shrimp

This is a new method compared to PCR kit being used by many laboratories and testing centers.

The LAMP kit has the advantage of producing results within 1 hour (PCR kit gives results within 2-3 hours). Another advantage of LAMP kit is that it is small, compact, has a sensitivity equivalent to that of PCR kit.

Currently LAMP Kit is being tested in Bac Lieu Aquaculture Sub-department and Ca Mau Province's Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery Quality Control Center. and evaluated by these two places: simple testing method, time saving, low inspection cost, easy to implement, no need for large equipment investment .

According to MA Ngo Huynh Phuong Thao (HCMBiotech), this LAMP kit is going into the final stage of testing to transfer to production units to commercialize the product.
