Land-based swimming equipment

In order to help children who are not afraid to enter the country, a 44-year-old man in Hanoi fabricates terrestrial swimming equipment and is using teaching in preschools.

Born in a family with a tradition of making mechanical parts for bicycles, Vu Duc Cuong's passion and passion (Dong Da, Hanoi) is swimming. In addition to his time at home, Mr. Cuong teaches more swimming in some centers and kindergartens.

In mid-2013, sadly when reading that many rural students drowned in the lake, Mr. Cuong started to create a swimming machine to help them learn basic swimming tasks on land . "Almost every practice has machines, but swimming is not" , Cuong explained.

Thanks to solid knowledge in the mechanical industry, the work took place quite smoothly. However, the first device looked very cumbersome with the suspension pulley system and the learner's knee. He then improved to the lever suspension system.

Seeing that the system is complicated and ineffective, Mr. Cuong continues to study, until March 2016, the machine becomes much simpler and more compact and still satisfies all functions.

The device is designed with a small set of water trays, the body is a foam pad to help the learner lie comfortably. The middle hole lets the learner lie without pain, the lower part has protruding protruding sides that help the legs more comfortable. All are supported by stainless steel frame with bearing capacity, not rusty.

The learner lay on the mattress, performing basic hand, foot and breathing movements, from there to confidently go to the water to swim more easily.

"Learners only need to know what their hands do, how to legs, how to breathe smoothly, for example when breathing out in the water, the right foot kicks out. Understanding those basic operations, people will not be surprised. or fear when entering the country ", Mr. Cuong said. With 3 years of practice on the machine and 4 sessions in swimming pool, learners will confidently swim without fear.

Mr. Cuong also uses 1.5 liter bottle of water to create a float with eye-catching, neat models.
