Launching a science application prize worth $ 30,000

On July 26, in Hanoi, the University of Economics (Hanoi National University) cooperated with Bao Son Group to organize the launching ceremony of the Bao Son Award in 2012.

The award was established in 2010 to give excellent works and groups of scientific works with high scientific and practical values ​​and outstanding contributions to the country's development.

The award contributes to the promotion and dissemination of scientific works and encourages the application of research results to practical and socio-economic development practices, in accordance with Vietnamese practices, can be widely applied. spread, bring economic and social values, and be simple to use and easy to deploy.

In 2012, the Organization Board will consider awarding scientific research projects in 5 areas: Education, poverty reduction, sustainable economic development, medicine and literature and art. Each field will consider awarding a best research project with a prize of USD 30,000 with a trophy and Award Certificate.

Participants to consider the Bao Son Prize are all individuals or groups of Vietnamese who are Vietnamese at home and abroad, regardless of age, occupation, religion or gender with scientific and technological works. in accordance with the criteria of the award.

In 2011, the first Bao Son Award was awarded to the project "Investigation and statistical evaluation of national and international meaningful wetland conservation zones" by the National University authors. Hanoi. This is a unique subject, the first set of national criteria to assess wetlands, Vietnam wetland classification system instead of using these tools of international organizations or other countries.

From 8 / 2012-15 / 10, the Organizing Committee will receive applications for examination registration and is expected to award in February 2013.
