Life of kingfisher family
The couple of kingfishers feed all day to feed their hungry children, and then stay awake to sleep for their children.
The kingfisher sees a fish in the water.
It plunges down and catches its prey.
It then quickly brought the prey to the nest to put it in the mouth of the 8-day-old children.
Mother and father birds take turns to feed their babies. The bird in the picture is Dad.
For kingfishers, raising prey for children is a very hard work. After finishing the cup, the young birds started yawning and sleeping.
