Meteor shower
This is the average meteor shower of the year with a number of meteor stars predicting about 20 tracks per hour. From July 18 to August 18, we can also observe a few meteorites in this rain.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Phuong explained: To observe this meteor shower, starting around 2 am on July 29, astronomers need to look towards the constellation of Aquarius in the southeast as the center of the rain ice. At this time, the Moon had dived into the horizon, creating favorable conditions to observe the meteor.
Some amateur astronomical clubs in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi will observe this event if weather conditions permit. But to observe the best rainstorm of the Delta Delta Aquarids, astronomers should go to the suburbs, away from electric lights, urban areas and watch meteor showers with their eyes.
Meteor shower is a phenomenon where thousands or even tens of thousands of small meteorites plunge into the Earth's atmosphere in turn, then burn when the Earth reaches an orbit with meteorites. These meteorites are often the result of comets as they pass through our orbit. Every year, there are more than 10 different large and small meteor showers taking place in the Earth's atmosphere.
