Magic Tray - cup tray for anti-slip dishes
The new invention by Korean designer Ryan Jongwoo Choi helps realize the dream of restaurants because it helps busy waiters avoid the risk of dropping dishes when they wait.
Magic Tray keeps fixed cups and dishes with the magnet attached below, preventing them from sliding off the tray when tilted. The tray made of this plywood is 55.88 x 25.4cm and has 2 cups, 2 plates or a bowl. The bottom of the cups and plates are also attached with magnet rings to help them cling to the tray. When used, users only need to press the handle lightly, the magnet system is activated.
Designer Choi said that the product came after a survey of restaurant staff showed that they regularly took the dish from the tray every time they fed food to customers and wanted to get a solution. Safer food.
The price of a Magic Tray is quite high, about 66 pounds (about 2,180,000 VND) including cups and plates, so Choi plans to design a new compact version with cheaper prices next year.
