Zeb Gray, a 25-year-old security guard in Carson City, Nevada, USA, dated Miss Amara Somers. In order to show his eternal love to Amara, he decided to use her name to call an extraterrestrial planet, NBC News reported.

Of course, Zeb wanted everyone on earth to call his lover's name when they mentioned the planet. So he decided to join the new naming competition for Alpha Centauri Bb - the alien planet closest to the solar system. The competition is organized by Uwingu, a competition-based entertainment service company.

For a fee of $ 4.99, contestants participating in Uwingu's competition can propose a name for Alpha Centauri Bb. To vote for a name, people have to spend $ 0.99. Uwingu will spend half of the money they earn in the competition on space science and education projects. The competition will end on April 15.

Currently, " Amara" is the name that people support the most.Of course, the results may change when the contest ends. But it seems that Amara is very happy. So when Zeb proposed marriage on April 5, she agreed.

But Zeb is not the first to impress women by calling celestial bodies according to the lover's name. When astronomer James Christy of the US Naval Observatory discovered Pluto's largest artificial satellite in 1978, he called it "Charon" to express his gratitude to his wife Charlene. Of course, "Charon" is a name that is not exactly the same as "Charlene" , but it still makes Charlene feel happy.
