Firework performance by Chinese famous artist Cai Guo-Qiang to give her grandmother the 100th birthday anniversary in June 2015. It started to look like a normal firework display , but quickly formed a glowing ladder that gradually pulled up into the sky.

Guo-Qiang uses a large weather balloon to hang a 500-meter-long metal wire ladder. The ladder was fitted with yellow fireworks, detonators and gunpowder, forming a chain of chain explosions along the length of the ladder during the show.
