Mask-like technology
A Japanese mask manufacturing company has been providing REAL-f face masks just like the face of a customer.
>>> 3D mask images
It seems that some customers are very excited about this technique and are willing to spend a great deal of money to own duplicate copies just like their faces or even the whole head.
Difficult to distinguish between the mask, the human face.
The technology called 3DPFs (3D Image Formats) allows manufacturers to create faces or headings using 3D technology on Vinyl chloride.
To create a face mask, images of the face are taken at various angles, and then printed on a vinyl chloride sheet that is placed in the mold. Modeling techniques allow for incredibly realistic details such as the iris, blood vessels and even pores.
These copies are quite expensive. A 3D mask costs $ 3,920 for the original and $ 780 for each subsequent copy while the copy for the entire $ 5,875 for the original and $ 1,960 for the next copy. This mask is water resistant. To have a copy of yourself, customers have to wait 2 to 3 weeks.
It seems this is not the only idea when a US company ThatsMyFace.com has the same idea of creating 3D sculpture faces of customers. Although the US service "LifeMasks" is cheaper; But not real as REAL-f of Japan.
