NASA expert: The first person to set foot on Mars must be a woman

Until now, astronauts who set foot on the Moon were men. But coming here, when humans conquer Mars, it will have to be women.

Until now, although there were a few astronauts who were women, but the people who set foot on the Moon were only men.

At the moment, the number of male astronauts is still much larger.

The simple reason is that astronautism is considered extremely harsh, making more people believe in men. From 40 years ago, NASA began to select female astronauts, but at the present time, the number of men is still much larger.

Recently, however, according to Allison McIntyre , a longtime engineer at NASA's Johnson (Houston, USA) Aviation Center, the first people to set foot on Mars must be women.

"The director of the center is female, my former boss is also female, we have female astronauts, but no woman has ever set foot on the Moon," she said.

"So I think the first person to set foot on Mars must be a woman."

It is known that Allison is working at the potential astronaut training facility before space exploration. In particular, candidates must show the ability to improvise with fires, poison gas spills, or a collapsing space.

Some female employees in NASA agreed with McIntyre. Emily Nelson, NASA's flight manager, said everything was only a matter of time, before women could set foot on Mars.

According to Nelson, NASA's female astronaut team is ready, but they are no longer heading to the Moon."We want to go to such a farther place, to test some technologies that allow people - especially women - to be able to withstand longer in the universe."

"Once you do that, the current crew of astronauts will not only be men."

"Future astronauts will be women. It's just a matter of time."
