New discoveries about smart people
Researchers at the University of Arizona in the United States have found a number of antiquities to show that smart people appeared about 164,000 years ago. Previous studies suggest that smart people appear between 40,000 and 70,000 years ago.
On October 18, AFP news agency quoted Professor Curtis Marean as saying his team had found a number of artifacts including 57 pieces of jewelry made from red stained stone, cooked shellfish and one. The number of small knives determined is about 164,000 years in a cave named 13B overlooking the sea at Pinnacle Point near Mossel Bay in South Africa.
Professor Marean said that the findings could create a new turning point for archeology. Anthropology professors at George Washington and Indiana University in the United States appreciate Professor Marean's work and, according to them, it is time for anthropologists to revisit the notion that ever Wisdom appeared from 40,000 to 70,000 years ago.
