New passenger car inspired by F1
Individual models with upright engines can travel nearly 200 km with a single charge.
US aircraft maker DeLorean Aerospace is developing a new vertical van that inspired the design of Formula One racing cars, with the ability to fly more than 193 km charger, Designboom on 14/8 reported.

This unique DR-7 is a two-seat VTOL . Manufacturers say the DR-7 is fully electrically operated, without emissions, so it is environmentally friendly.
The car is compact size and elegant design. The chassis of the vehicle together with the special folding wing design to help it reach a remarkable speed when flying.

Safety is one of the top concerns of DeLorean Aerospace when it comes to producing the DR-7. Designers say the car is equipped with automatic control systems, two-way impact protection and many other safety features are pending patents.
