New record of the world's largest pillow cake
Guinness World Records has recorded the largest pillow made in London weighing 153.1kg.
Officials from Guinness World Records personally witnessed the process of kneading and baking, and certified this giant cake has passed the necessary tests. Pravin Patel, from Guinness World Records, stated: "This product has the appearance and taste like a pillow cake and is edible".

He added the record that the cake recorded is its weight: 153.1kg. The previous record was a pillow cake weighing 110.8 kg, because the North England Bradford School was made in June 2012.
The head of the project, Farid Islam, said he was excited about the project, but also worried that the cake would break during the process. He admitted this was a very difficult challenge.
Volunteers from the Aid UK Humanitarian Relief Fund have spent 15 hours making this giant cake at the mosque in East London. The cake has been divided into hundreds of small parts to distribute to the homeless in the region through the Salvation Army relief organization.
