Otzi is one of the oldest and most well-preserved mummies in the world, having survived almost intact over the past 5,300 years. Many previous studies have confirmed that Ozti was involved in a war shortly before his death. An arrow pierced the artery below the collarbone along with a strong blow to the head that was the cause of this mysterious death.
Now, however, the results from a new study at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) prove the opposite. By body scans, experts find that the head injury may be an accidental accident. Accordingly, the most likely Otzi died in a mountain climbing in the fall.
Recheis Wolfgang, the head of the study, said: 'The Ice's death could have been an accident during the climb, not because he had been shot by someone like many people think before, The arrow wound may be just an old wound. '
Scientists are still studying to find a detailed solution around this problem.
