Out of food, the orangutan hunts loris
When fruits are scarce, orangutans (which are herbivores) switch to hunting other small primates to eat meat.

As observed by scientists at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, 9 cases of Sumatra-utans orangutans , named Pongo abelii , have bitten and killed small primates, such as loris (an animal close to lemurs), to eat meat.
You choose to be the attack point because it will stun your prey, avoid being countered, then kill and eat the prey. For Culi, the orangutans must be even more cautious, since Culi is the only primate that contains toxins in saliva.
