Pakistan tried cruise missiles
Islamabad on August 25 successfully tested the new missile, the kind of journey from the air and capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
The Pakistan-produced missile, Ra'ad - means Arabic thunder - has a range of 350 km and uses stealth technology, the military statement said. Missiles are launched from the air, as well as on the sea and in the air.
"The Ra'ad can carry all kinds of warheads and is as accurate as Pakistan's Babur," the announcement added. Babur was tested by the country in July and has a longer range, up to 700 km.
Pakistan and its neighbor, India, often try retaliatory missiles, especially after both countries announced nuclear weapons in 1998. However, since 2004, The two sides began the peace process and dispute settlement in Kashmir. In February, Pakistan signed a historic treaty with India to cut the risk of using nuclear weapons.
