Passive smoking reduces hearing
In the myriad of harms attributable to children, American scientists have added a dangerous effect of passive smoking, which is to reduce the hearing loss of minors.
According to Russia's KM page, this conclusion is drawn from a study by American scientists when examining the health status of 1,500 students in ages 12 to 19.

When measuring children's hearing, they do a comprehensive check, including the level of sound perception at different frequencies. As for this possibility, for those who have a family member smoking, it is clear that smoking has a bad effect. The results show that the number of children with hearing problems is twice as high as the children who live in families with a clean atmosphere.
Experts explain that this harm is because in cigarettes there are chemicals harmful to blood supply to hearing organs. When the long-term effect causes chronic disease in developing bodies, it will prevent them from later choosing sound-related careers.
This finding provides an additional reason to ban smoking even in families, not just in public places.
