Photo beam of International Space Station

International Space Station (ISS) is a research room assembled in space. From ISS, the earth can be seen with the naked eye. ISS is located 350-460 km away from the earth, moving at an average speed of 27,700 km / h, turning 15.77 around the trajectory / 1 day. This is the world's largest and most complex international science project.

The International Space Station is the place to carry out science and technology experiments of 16 countries such as Canada, Japan, Russia and 11 countries of the European space agency and Brazil . Here are some beautiful images of ISS or taken from ISS:

This photo was taken from ISS after Atlantis space shuttle left from orbit on September 17, 2006. For six days on the station, the Atlantis crew assembled a pair of 73-meter-long solar wings, weighing 17.5 tons, including electronic devices and rotary joints to double the electrical energy supplied to station.

ISS was started construction in November 1998. Its first part was assembled as a Zarya control module launched into orbit by the Russian proton rocket. Today this space station has a larger space than a house with 3 bedrooms and it continues to be assembled to increase the area.

The upgrade or repair of equipment is always necessary for ISS, and by the astronauts themselves. Before wearing special pressure suits, the astronauts spent 2 hours to reduce the pressure. After wearing this space suit, the astronauts had to spend an extra hour of pure oxygen breathing before going out.
