According to UPI news agency, Linda Spilker, a Cassini project scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, said Cassini will take pictures of the Earth in about 15 minutes, starting at 17 27 minutes on July 19 (American time).
'Cassini had previously photographed the Earth, but this will be the first time that Earth residents know that their photos will be taken more than 1.6 billion kilometers away,' said Spilker. I hope people around the world will go out and wave to Saturn when the photography is taken. '
'I am very excited with the rare opportunity to post pictures of all of us waving to Saturn. I encourage my family and friends to respond to this action , 'she added.
NASA said America will face Saturn at the time of photography.
