The self-contained plug-in project, which lasts more than 25 years, was created by Jeremy Smith, Utah's elite electric engineer, who is attracting attention on the Kickstarter.com startup website.

According to Business Insider, SnapRay Guidelight initially raised $ 12,000, but the product quickly gained support from more than 2,200 people and raised $ 103,000 in just two days.

SnapRays Guidelight is designed with the same design of all power sockets, but is equipped with LED lights below. Due to the built-in light sensor, this cover will automatically turn on the LEDs in the dark and turn off in the morning, so the owner does not have to spend money to buy more lights. This proprietary technology also allows LEDs to be powered from the source without wiring.

According to engineer Smith, the cost of electricity consumption of the product is only about 10 cents (more than 2,000) per year. Users can remove the normal power cap and replace it with SnapRays Guidelight in just a few clicks.
