Puppy dog for pet lovers
After more than a decade of absence, Sony decided to bring its Aibo pet robot back to a completely new version.
Aibo is a special robot dog. It uses a tiny actuator that allows the body to move in 22 axes. Aibo's eyes are equipped with an OLED panel capable of changing to express many expressions. The robot operates continuously for 2 hours and charges about 3 hours.
According to Sony, Aibo uses advanced learning technology to receive images, audio through the sensor. It then uses cloud data to gather experience from employers and other Aibo robots.

Thus, Aibo's behavior can be changed to adapt to the environment. It has the ability to identify, find employers, learn how to make them happy and get used to their surroundings. Thanks to these abilities, Aibo can create emotional ties with family members, giving the user the same happiness as taking care of a real dog.
Comes with a robot is My Aibo phone application. The application allows users to access Aibo robots, view images taken from the eye and download more new features.
The new Aibo version has a subscription requirement of 2,980 yen per month (nearly 600,000 dong). This package includes Wi-Fi connectivity with LTE, cloud data backup and access to My Aibo features.
Sony started accepting orders Aibo from 1/11 and officially sold on 11/1/2018. The price to own a cute robot dog is 198,000 yen (nearly 40 million).
