In the past, this breed was distributed throughout China, the Soviet Union, Japan, Korea, . but now in the Soviet Union, North Korea has completely disappeared, in Japan there are only a few captive children, in China. has lost more than 20 years. It was not until 1981 that 7 children were discovered in Duong and Shaanxi districts, thanks to the attention of protection, the number increased more than before.

Red storks, long beaks, head with mane, red cheeks, all white body with red hair, neck with willow hair, drooping; body about 80cm long. It often perches on tall trees, when it comes to hunting, it flies into fields, lakes or streams to catch grasshoppers, clones, juveniles, snails and slashes.

The red stork has many enemies, crows and skunks who often go to the nest to steal eggs and baby storks. So it chooses nesting place very carefully. Red storks often hatch eggs, raise children, just expand and strengthen their nest. They lay eggs in May, each laying 3-4 eggs. Drums and females take turns to hatch. About 1 month, the eggs hatch, the eggs break out of the eggs. Stork parents still take turns taking care of and feeding. A month after the feathered wing was full, and the child began to learn to fly, after a long time it was able to feed itself.
