ReelSonar for fishermen
ReelSonar is an electronic device that connects smartphones with iOS / Android operating systems to help find fish.
Nom is like a small boat, when put in water, it sends ultrasonic pulses down to depths of up to 50m. These pulses will reflect back when encountering moving objects.
It can also tell the water temperature and salinity, and draw a topographic map of the lake / sea bottom in the fishing area. When a fish approaches or stops swimming, the device sends out an alarm.
A Pro version of ReelSonar costs $ 2.99 more using GPS to label where the user was successful and estimate the weight and length of the fish found underwater.
