The TSP is made from 4mm thick, watertight welded steel, waterproof and floating, and is designed with a flush design to reduce water resistance and obstacle barriers. The TSP can withstand impact of up to 4 tonnes, which is equipped with shockproof cushions and is safe for 4 people. The amount of air in the bay is enough for them to breathe for two and a half hours.

In addition to the main compartment door, TSP also has an extra door underneath in case it is overturned. The outside of the lifebuoy was fitted with flashing lights to signal the rescue force. Rescue teams can use a helicopter or a crane to pull the TSP with the hooks available.

At about $ 8,900, Duncan says TSP is not only used in tsunamis but can also be used as a shelter for earthquakes or floods.
