Rescue robot is about to be deployed in Japan
A research team at Satoshi Tadokoro University in Japan has researched and produced a robot like a snakelike snake that can crawl into small spaces to search missing people.
This is a robot with 26 legs covered with a special servomotor system with a speed of 2.7 inches per second. Snakelike can penetrate the debris of nearly 10 meters deep and forward the image to the rescue team to save the victims in a timely manner.
The Robotics Center's Eiji Koyanagi Research Institute is also developing a robot called Quince that can explore hazardous locations after a disaster. Quince can sense chemistry, biology, or dangerous nuclear radiation. Fire in areas where firefighters can not reach. It has an integrated camera and can move 5.2 m / sec.
