Revealed many new phytoplankton

The survey of an international group in tropical waters between the eastern United States and the mid-Atlantic mountains has found between 10 and 20 new tiny species of creatures at the bottom of this sea.
Using special nets, scientists have captured thousands of tiny zooplankton samples. Among them new species include 6 shrimp crustaceans, a shrimp-like creature and other species such as snails and snails swimming .
Most zooplankton are only millimeters long, but there are also long ones that are the same as the jellyfish tail. They live at a depth of 1 to 5 km and swim along the ocean currents.
"This is a journey of discovery, with the deepest parts of the oceans almost sampled," said Dr. Peter Wiebe, head of the research team working at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, USA.
Scientists also found new species of fish, such as a large black mouth fish.
Most species are distributed in the first 1 km depth, but scientists say the survey has shown abundance even at greater depths.
The survey results will provide a benchmark to assess future ocean changes.
